On Monday, May 14, NASA transmits live a scientific discussion about its latest discoveries in Europe, one of Jupiter's satellites. The Galileo mission detected in situ the geysers of water that flow out of Europe but it escaped to the space agency at the time. A little more than two decades ago, NASA's Galileo spacecraft explored a Jupiter moon called Europa, about 400 kilometers high. Those trips of the space mission around the satellite allowed to obtain the first evidences that there existed an ocean of liquid water under the frozen crust of its surface. The data obtained in one of the overflights, made on December 21, 1997, also showed unexpected findings that have gone unnoticed, until now.
